minimised fabric waste
Every Raw Flora piece is designed to waste as little fabric as possible. It may take a little longer but we’ll do everything we can to use every last scrap of material including designing with small panels to use our off cuts.
actual recycled materials
Did you know that some companies produce plastic bottles purely to chop them straight up and make into clothes they can call ‘recycled’? It’s outrageous that producing new plastic is cheaper than recycling. If your Raw Flora piece is labelled recycled, we really mean it. Each garment has a minimum of 78% recycled material in it.
ensuring workers are paid fairly
It’s no secret that only 2% of fashion workers worldwide earn a salary they can live off. Just because a garment is expensive, it really doesn’t mean that company is fairly reimbursing its workers. At Raw Flora we’re proud to use ethical companies for our supplies and pay our seamstresses a living wage for their fabulous work.
We Replace what we use
For every product purchased from us we work with One Tree Planted to plant a tree in return. Giving back to the planet and ensuring everything we do is eco friendly and sustainable is at the heart of Raw Flora.

Our clothes are designed with versatility in mind, to take you from mat to mountain, from sofa to wild swim and so much more. You don’t need to buy separate pieces for each activity which means so much less waste. Win win.

Founded in 2021, Raw Flora is a small brand with huge heart and an even bigger mission: to create beautifully comfortable activewear that’s as kind to the planet as it is to you.
From our bamboo cover ups to our buttery soft sports bras made from recycled fishing nets (really truly), we’re super proud to use eco-friendly, recycled, and sustainable materials to bring our designs to life. Every metre of our organic, recycled and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 fabrics comes from European companies that we know, love and trust. Not to mention that every single stitch is sewn in our beautiful little studio by the sea, we live and breathe low impact process.
We partner with the fantastic One Tree Planted too to replace what we use. For every order you make, a tree is planted somewhere in the world.

Meet Alex Taylor, the creative soul behind Raw Flora! Once upon a time, Alex worked for a high-volume fashion brand, and while it taught her a lot, it also opened her eyes to some shocking industry practices. Mountains of waste, questionable ethics, and fast fashion’s relentless churn didn’t sit right with her. So, she decided to take matters into her own hands—literally—by crafting a better way, one pair of leggings at a time.
Sewing has always been Alex’s happy place. Whether whipping up outfits as a kid, stitching from her van while exploring Europe, or now working in her dreamy South Devon studio, it’s her way of creating something meaningful. Inspired by her love of yoga and the planet, she started Raw Flora to combine her passion for slow, sustainable fashion with activewear that feels as good as it looks.
Today, Alex handcrafts every piece with care, using eco-friendly, recycled materials and low-impact processes. Her designs are built to last, taking you from yoga mat to Sunday strolls (and everywhere in between) with ease.
Alex’s mission is simple: to prove that conscious comfort isn’t just possible—it’s beautiful. And she’s just getting started!
